Jaime Marks

Marriage & Family Therapist Trainee
Supervised by Darla Gale, LMFT #92413
Jaime is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee in her final year at National University, where
she is earning her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy.
With a Bachelor’s degree in
Psychology and a passion for supporting others, Jaime approaches therapy from a systemic
perspective—understanding each person’s challenges and strengths within the context of their
relationships, communities, and environment.
She believes therapy should feel safe, supportive, and collaborative. Jaime works alongside her
clients to explore their stories, consider unique perspectives, and discover solutions that support
their healing and growth. She recognizes that, through our ever-changing roles in life, we
experience new challenges and at times need help to navigate them. She supports clients with
patience, empathy, and encouragement throughout the process. Because every client is unique,
Jaime is flexible in her approach and tailors her work to meet each person’s individual needs. She is especially passionate about helping people heal, grow, and build stronger, more fulfilling
relationships. As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, Jaime strives to create an inclusive,
welcoming space for all who seek support.
Outside of her work, Jaime enjoys spending time with her partner and family, walking with her
dogs, strength-training, and other forms of movement and exercise, cooking new vegan recipes,
and embracing her new role as a mother.
