And whether you have someone to talk to or not in your family -- a significant other, friend etc. -- sometimes having a conversation regularly with a professional who has been trained in these areas to help you overcome these issues is much more effective than just venting with a friend or family member.

If you have been to therapy before and you like it and would like to try out a new therapist, we welcome you to come check us out. One of the questions we get asked about a lot is insurance. So many times therapy isn’t covered by insurance or it’s hard to find a therapist within your insurance plan that fits well with you, but that’s OK because we are a 501(c)3 Nonprofit agency. We work on a sliding scale, which means we charge you based on your monthly income and your need. You can find out more on our “How We Work” page. We have sessions as low as $55.00 for the hour session so it can be very affordable for everyone.
